RESIDENTS of Asaba, Delta State capital, were, Sunday, thrown into confusion, following a threat letter by Fulani jihadists to attack the capital city over Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s support for the ban on open grazing in the southern part of the country.
The threat letter, which was pasted in some parts of the state, including the premises of Living Faith Bible Church (aka Winners Chapel), Infant Jesus Road in Asaba, the Fulani jihadists vowed to carry out their threat if Okowa does not withdraw his support for the ban on open grazing within 72 hours.
The Fulani fundamentalists in the letter, entitled “Fulani Jihadist Warning: An Open Message of 2 Paragraphs To Delta State
It reads: “This is to inform Delta State that the Fulanis of Usman Dan Fodio leadership shall do everything it can to uphold the legacy of our heritage of open grazing, for we are nomadic people from origination and shall never negotiate the ownership of Nigeria and West Africa and sub-Sahara.
“We, hereby, ask the governor of Delta State to immediately withdraw his earlier stand on ban of open grazing in 17 regions in not less than 72 hours from the above date and also withdraw his position as the leading voice of the governors, even before the hosting of the South-South, South-East and South-South governors meeting in Asaba.
“Failure to adhere to this demand for being the host of the 17 governors, Delta State, most likely the city of Asaba and Agbor, shall encounter severe consequences than that of Bornu, Kebbi, Kastina, Kaduna, Enugu, Benue, Oyo and many more that will not respect the Fulani’s heritage
I Will Bring Down Nnamdi Kano
Ex-Niger Delta Militant, Asari Dokubo has sworn to bring down the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu. Dokubo, in a recent fiery message accused Kanu of being a ‘con man’ and fleecing innocent igbo people of their hard earned money all in the name of achieving Biafra.
Both activists have been at each others throats after they fell out due to ideological differences on the actualisation of Biafra.
This development resulted in the creation of the Biafra Customary Government (BCG) by Dokubo.
“How is that an audited account? Why do Igbo people allow you, a conman, to be conning them? Igbos, you have to rise. He wants to destroy Onyeama. He wants to destroy Ekweremadu. He wants to destroy everybody and the Igbo people are keeping quiet.”
“Biafra is your business now, you have no other avenue for gainful income. It is a pity how Igbo people have fallen for this evil, but your time is up.”
“I am out for you. And I will get you. I just asked that our people be allowed to vote and you sent your dogs. I’ve broken their teeth,” he said.
“Nnamdi Kanu, I’m not in your category but for this, I will surely bring you down. I will destroy this evil empire that is working as a hindrance to the restoration of Biafra.

No come Lekki, or we go fight’, Portable warns TG Omori
No come Lekki, or we go fight’, Portable warns TG Omori Nigerian street singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has reacted to TG Omori’s request to direct a music video for him. This is coming after TG Omori’s Tuesday concession to the musician’s requests following repeated daily attacks on social media. He requested a song from Portable so that he could make the video, but he did not specify if it would be free or if the $50,000 cost would be waived. In response to the proposal, the pair started an Instagram live session on Wednesday. Portable bemoaned TG Omori’s excessive costs and accused the director of once again disliking him. He then jokingly warned TG Omori not to travel to Lekki or Sango for fear for his safety because a fight would likely break out if they met. In response, TG Omori clarified that it wasn’t personal and that his main goal is to make money. The pair’s disagreement did not end there, on Tuesday, as Portable dragged TG Omori, for sidelining hi...

Naira scarcity: Buhari indicts Bank CEOs
Naira scarcity: Buhari indicts Bank CEOs The President said he had noted reports about cash shortages and hardship on local businesses and ordinary people and gave assurances that the remaining seven of the 10-day extension will be used to crack down on whatever stood in the way of successful implementation. “I will revert to the CBN and the Minting Company. There will be a decision one way or the other in the remaining seven days of the 10-day extension,” the President assured. The Governors told the President that, while they agreed that his decision on the renewal of currency was good and they were fully in support, its execution had been botched and their constituents were becoming increasingly upset. They told the President that, as leaders of the government and party in their different states, they were becoming anxious about a slump in the economy and the series of elections that are coming. They requested the President to use his powers to direct the concurrent use of the ...
